OXYMED Australia is offering free HBO for immediate returning war veterans suffering the effects of Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Post Traumatic Stress Disorders (PTSD), Shock Blast and Post Concussions Syndrome. Other soldiers are presenting with Lyme related 'tick=borne' and chronic autoimmune illness.
We are committed to assisting our Aussie War Vets and hopeful of other interstate HBO facilities coming on-board to support this initiative.

Thinking outside of the therapeutic box will observe the emergence of specific combination therapies that will ultimately impact the lives of those with complex disability.
What Are Some Of These Combinations?
Hyperbaric Oxygenation (HBOT) increases Oxygen availability diminishing the cascade effects of Hypoxic Induced Apoptosis; HBOT mobilizes the patients' own target specific neural stem cells (CD34+) whilst promoting a fertile neurovascular platform (neural & vascular growth factors) within the damaged and surrounding areas. HBOT inhibits inflammatory cascades including Tumor Necrosis Factor and pro inflammatory cytokines.
Evidence supports that spinal cord and brain cell lesions can be bridged using transplanted tissues and patient derived bridging devices. In addition the use of patient derived autologous stem cells primed with neurotrophic growth factors can promote axonal sprouting, activation of idling and non-functional neurons..
Intensive robotic training is required to activate dormant non functional and idling neural reflexes.
ESKO™ is a wearable bionic exoskeleton suit which enables individuals with any amount of lower extremity weakness to stand up and walk over ground with a natural, full weight bearing, reciprocal gait. Walking is achieved by the user’s weight shifts to activate sensors in the device which initiate steps. Battery-powered motors drive the legs, replacing deficient neuromuscular function.

We are seeking partners in this process.
Neuro-Robotic Therapies are uncharted territories from traditional government funding models. We are actively seeking government direction and support to ensure funding models for patients attending. In addition we have engaged the services of Australian Public Affairs and various media groups to assist our endeavors.
OXYMED is seeking partners and volunteers – those with corporate financial skills to assist in gaining Medicare and Third Party funding. Many patients attend from interstate and we are endeavoring to establish OXYMED centers in each and every state. Medicare funding is crucial to this objective. Establishment costs exceed AUD$1.5 million for each center simply to provide a minimum of 2-Hyperbaric Chambers and 1-LOKOMAT (adult and pediatric) notwithstanding additional infrastructure expenses including staff and leasing requirements.
We need practical support and every supportive idea is most welcome. In addition we seek volunteer support – there are many in the community that have appropriate skills that may elect to support OXYMED in a practical ‘down to earth’ manner.
